After many years of wanting a piece of land so I could scale up my experiments and research, that day has finally come. I have been at this for over 6 months since January 2025, packing and moving my stuff to the new land. Actually, it’s almost the end of summer and I’m STILL moving stuff… because I’m alone. My mother is 78 so I do the heavy lifting. Thankfully my brother was able to give us a huge boost…
The new property is over 35 acres, and has so much potential. As a person who has never had a single vacation in his entire adult existence, I hope this property will improve my health and give me a quiet place to rest. I sure hope. It cost me everything… I wiped out savings and ran up huge debts to cover moving expenses, repairs, fees etc. But the previous neighborhood and town I was staying in was literally making me sick, so I think this move was 110% justified.
Despite the current chaos, I have managed to start a few small scale projects including a gray water catchment and recycling system. My first few videos on this new property will be posted down below if you are interested.
As soon as humanly possible, I will start some major projects including a new solar farm and large scale DC PV-to-Load operations. These are plans I’ve had for years. But I did not have enough land or leeway to carry them out.
